Corporate design for the wood construction planning office Prause
The family business »Prause Holzbauplanung« is one of the leading companies in Germany in the field of wood construction planning and digitalisation of the planning process. They also operate in Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg. Together with the client we worked over a year on a new identity for the company.
For the understatement, we crossed out the »Holzbauplanung« of the name and replaced it with the claim »Büro für besseres Bauen« meaning Office for a better construction. In that way they can directly assume a leading position in front of the building industry.
The tree as a natural resource in its reduced and constructed representation is composed of two modules, which could also be read as a one and zero. Since the company was founded, its color has been blue. For a contrast we added yellow as an additional color for active marking.
On the website, you can see interesting projects, showing the possibilities of wood construction. But a big part of it is the magazine, in which coworkers of Prause can write articles about their fields and publish them under their names. The aimes of the website are to present the company with its values and aimes, the engagement and growth of the coworkers, and to strengthen the brand within the wood construction sector.

Corporate design an playful simple website
A wonderfully simple new website for the photographer and image maker Dominik Antoni from Essen (NRW, Germany). The images are not shown alone in a white museal space. The website acts as flexible as the content Dominik produces is different. Because of small and effective interactions, it feels like you could be browsing through the site for indefinitely without getting bored.
Besides the website, new business cards were designed, with an elaborated edge coloring on all sides and a fitting letter paper for PDF-I invoices or love letters to clients.
Webdesign for the art group »Center for political Beauty«
The Zentrum für Politische Schönheit (ZPS - Center for Political Beauty) is well known for its controversial actions, which have the finger on the pulse of the times and the current political discourse. With trenchant art performances and installations, they send strong messages and show grievances which are often disregarded in Germany and Europe.
Ash on the skin of the artists is their trademark, which is mixed with the color range of skin tones. Together, they are easy to recognize and a core element of the corporate design.
We designed the website with Peter Post, (CEO of Scholz & Volkmer), who developed the corporate design.
Visual identity for a translator
Amélie Gärtner, a French translator, has decided to go freelance after having worked several years in a translation company. She translates from German and English intro French.
Rather than showing projects, the company's communication is translated on the website and the business card. As this field purely deals with languages and words, we have decided to show only one picture of Amélie and to communicate mainly with words.

Visual identity for the farm Oberschuirshof south from Essen
The farm Oberschuirshof located south from Essen has been owned by the family Weber since 1760. Nikolas Weber has recently taken over the farm from his parents and wishes to bring the agricultural production closer to the people. He wants to connect the missing dots between the product on the fields, the animals in the stable and the meal on the table.
Therefore, the communication needed to be as simple and transparent as possible. Farming means hard work, and that should be made clear. It wasn't about creating a romantic view of a farm but about showing the true - and sometimes muddy- reality of it. The handwriting used for most of the headlines has been drawn from instructions by Nikolas Weber and creates the visual identity of the farm, together with the colors and the typographic design.
